“Creating a better world requires teamwork, partnerships, and collaboration, as we need an entire army of companies to work together to build a better world” *
Working in partnership with other organisations in Wales is core to what we do – harnessing the collective power of the forestry and environment sector in Wales to better support our members.
Our extensive network across Wales welcomes everyone interested in woodlands. We act as a link between those actively making a difference on the ground with decision-makers, landowners and other organisations.
We are working closely with NRW on a two-year project to review and support the permissions system for Community Groups to help manage areas of the NRW managed woodland estate
Our partnership working with Bridgend County Borough Council has included contracts to manage Bedford Park LNR with volunteers and local groups as an exemplar community woodland site, consultation on tree planting areas and events and support with engagement sessions for the Cwm Taf Nature Networks ENRaW project.
We access funds on behalf of Llynfi Valley Woodland Group and provide support with staffing funded sessions.
Coed Cadw is a long-term partner: We’ve worked together on many projects across a ten year relationship, including the Welsh Government My Tree Our Forest Campaign and the ongoing CommuniTree project
As members of Wales Environment Link we contribute to ongoing policy level issues and represent members views in a Wales -Wide platform
We manage the Forestry Hub in Machynlleth that provides a collaborative workspace to woodland, community and environmental organisations. Providing a space that generates interesting collaborations and positive energy around ideas, we also host two busy meeting room spaces and a kitchen too.
